GLG large high-speed doors are the ideal solution for civil and military airports that need to close enormous openings quickly without incurring the exorbitant design costs of custom-built conventional closures.
The main feature of these closures is their large size. Thanks to their special lattice structure, they can cover widths of up to 40 metres, ensuring maximum security for housing airliners, private jets and helicopters. These doors are also used in garages for airport emergency vehicles and in repair workshops.

Vertical fold-up doors for hangars are designed to give civil and military airports convenient passage between the interior and exterior of their buildings. They improve operators’ work, ensuring high standards of efficiency, a key factor in meeting an airport’s logistics needs.
These special industrial doors are designed to support the fast, safe transit of workers, aircraft, cranes and emergency vehicles inside, outside and in the vicinity of hangars and industrial sheds used for storing aircraft.

GLG high-speed closures for airports offer high resistance to the elements (storms, hail, strong gusts of wind), always ensuring maximum building operability and keeping people, aircraft and baggage handling vehicles safe as they travel from the runway to the cargo sorting centres.
The doors withstand winds of up to 120 km/h, thanks to a PVC curtain reinforced with horizontal bars. Moreover, in special versions available on request, the special tapered leg can handle wind loads up to class 5, i.e. up to 160 km/h (indicative values, to be confirmed in the quotation based on the project and installation site).
