High-speed doors for the chemical industry
High-speed doors for potentially explosive atmospheres
Logistics solutions for passageways with a high risk of detonation
Flexible roll-up door designed for environments with physical characteristics that pose a potential risk of deflagration or explosion.
The EN 60079 – X standards cover a range of aspects relating to potentially explosive atmospheres. These standards, which also form the basis of EU Directive 2014/34 (ATEX), describe the types of explosion protection for electrical equipment, as well as the assessment and classification of hazardous areas within a plant. On the basis of these standards, we at GLG have developed a range of high-speed doors for the chemical sector.
The special explosion-proof structure and components of our ATEX high-speed doors operate in constant harmony with the surrounding environment, always providing the highest degree of airtightness and protection from potential ignition sources.

ZipGO
The high-speed door par excellence, designed to separate areas with different uses. It is used indoors and outdoors, very often in areas with flows of people or industrial machinery.
ZipGO ATEX
The ATEX (ATmosphères EXplosives) industrial high-speed door is designed to help companies that need to operate in environments with a high risk of deflagration or explosion arising from objects nearby or that may come into contact with the door.
VertiGO Double
Double-curtain stacking door, ideal for medium to large openings where high wind resistance is required.
Accidents? No, thank you!
High-speed doors compliant with all ATEX regulations, ensuring maximum safety and airtightness for chemical companies.
High-speed doors for the chemical industry are designed to optimise the logistics of all organisations that need to isolate high-hazard areas as effectively as possible, minimising the risk of accidents.
GLG high-speed roll-up doors are therefore the ideal products for all sectors that require equipment suitable for potentially explosive atmospheres due to flammable materials or hazardous reagents. Chemical companies, and anyone refining products using chemical agents, will find in this door a genuine solution that meets all legal requirements.
For over 40 years we have been developing ATEX closure solutions with great rigour, considering both the legally mandatory standards and the real ignition risk that a company must be able to limit and/or prevent from spreading.
Cutting-edge logistics solutions for the safety of chemical operators.
Only AISI 316L
For our ATEX door, we use only AISI 316L steel as a matter of quality.
From a regulatory standpoint, we know that products can be developed in either galvanised or stainless steel in order to prevent or avoid fuelling ignition between components protruding from the structure and the chemical products handled by the company.
We should point out that our R&D department deliberately chose to create a solution that not only meets the standards but also embraces a philosophy in line with the highest safety principles.
