Sibelco Italia has also chosen a GLG door to divide its production spaces. The company, based in Spilamberto, Modena (MO), processes raw materials such as sands and industrial minerals for a wide range of industries, from construction to glassmaking, and needed an industrial closure suitable for separating different work areas, taking into account the particular conditions that characterise this type of activity. It is in fact an extremely dusty environment, where it was essential to install a closure capable of dividing the company’s production spaces in a practical, fast and safe way.
The tailor-made solution for Sibelco
And naturally, the GLG Technical Team found the winning solution for this new challenge: the GLG Vertigo is in fact ideal for separating outdoor and indoor environments – a reliable product with low running costs, capable of meeting all of the customer’s needs. The high-speed stacking door installed at Sibelco features standard high-breaking-strength curtain lifting belts, an extra-strong 950 g/m² polyester fabric curtain and two transparent PVC windows that provide visibility even when the door is closed. In short, the perfect solution for dividing spaces while minimising the infiltration of dust and small debris released inside the plant by the industrial processing of materials.
Dividing production spaces to improve the working environment
Following the installation of the Vertigo door by the GLG installation team, the production spaces at Sibelco are now divided in a practical and safe way, optimising logistics during the processing, storage and bagging of materials.
