To separate the outdoor area from the indoor production area, the Customer turned to the GLG Team, requesting a closure that would be reliable, suited to the installation site and, above all, capable of delivering high performance over time. We therefore proposed a Vertigo, GLG’s high-speed folding door: reliable, inexpensive to run and extremely safe, suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.
With an opening and closing speed of up to 0.8 m/s, it is also particularly suitable for very large openings (in this case 4450 x 4500 cm). The curtain is made of flexible extra-strong 950 g/m² polyester fabric, and the door operates safely for the user thanks to safety photocells that prevent accidental contact with the curtain itself.

The FRACM plant is also powered by renewable energy thanks to a photovoltaic system, and it was precisely in view of the company’s particular commitment to the environment that the GLG Research and Development Team proposed the GLG Vertigo powered by low-consumption Digit Motors.
